<title>Some changes</title>
 <link>http://www.FunBots.org/?page=news&amp;amp;id=20</link>
 <description>Hi Everyone,

Some small changes have been made to the bots.

Anagram (.ag)By popular request we've changed the way how the anagram game (.ag) works.

As of today it is no longer required to write .ag word, you can just write the word instead. For example, if the word is 'donkey' you would normally write .ag donkey, now you can just write donkey.

Note that the 'old' way of writing this (.ag donkey) will still work, and will continue to work.

Channel Top 10 (.topchan)Because a lot of people were annoyed by .topchan mentioning their names in the channel (and thus highlighting them) we have decided to have the bots reply with a notice instead of writing the channel's top 10 to the channel.

We hope everyone is okay with this. Feel free to shout if you feel this change shouldn't have happened.

The regular top 10 command will still continue to work as before.

<title>Some little change in the anagram-game</title>
 <link>http://www.FunBots.org/?page=news&amp;amp;id=19</link>
 <description>Hey!

This is the first news after a long period :D
I've just edited a bit the anagram-game. Some people told me that it was annoying to type 'ag ' to answer to the question asked, and it is. That's why I decided to remove the '.ag' part when you write the answer. Now, you just have to write the word itself, and only it (It won't work if you use '.ag '.

Hope you'll enjoy it :)

 <title>Unexpected downtime</title>
 <link>http://www.FunBots.org/?page=news&amp;amp;id=17</link>
<description>Note: This news is obviously outdated. The service has been offline for a while, but we're back online now!

Expect some announcements soon.

Hi everyone,

You probably noticed that our bots are now down since previous week. This is because we have a trust issue : the owner of our trust wasn't the owner of the server where the IPs were trusted. That's why the quakenet staff asked us to stop our bots till we get this problem fixed.
We have now 2 solutions:
- m4x is trying to get his own server to run the bouncers for the bots ;
- We'll have to remove the current trust and I (Blady) will have to request my own trust for my current server, and hope Quakenet Staff will accept my request.

We doesn't have any ETA for now, it can take days, weeks, months...

Regards,
Blady.</description>

 <title>About cheating/bugs exploiting</title>
 <link>http://www.FunBots.org/?page=news&amp;amp;id=16</link>
 <description>Hi everyone.

I saw recently some people exploiting a bug with the '.bank' command. Those guys account have been suspended already, and I've made a new system to catch this.

To everyone, if once a day you find a bug/exploit in our games/commands, please report it asap. If you don't and keep on using it to increase your money to get a higher rank, your account will be suspended from our Casino Games!

So please make it fair for everyone!

 <title>2 new commands added!</title>
 <link>http://www.FunBots.org/?page=news&amp;amp;id=15</link>
 <description>Hey everyone!

I just added 2 new commands to the bots that deal with the bot's userlist.

.addQchanlev
This command will force the bot to retreive your current Q-chanlev of your channel and add respectively +n (owner) and +m (master) people to owner and master on the bots. No needed to add them one by one now, just type this command and everyone will be added!
[small]Required access: Channel owner[/small]

.clearuserlist
This command will clear all your bot userlist and add you as only owner of the bot (It needs owner rights of course!)
[small]Required access: Channel owner[/small]

Any problems/questions about these commands? Ask me (Blady) on #FunBots !

<title>We are having some connections issues</title>
 <link>http://www.FunBots.org/?page=news&amp;amp;id=14</link>
 <description>Hey everyone,

You may have noticed that the bots had some problems while playing to our casino games. This is due to an issue between our 2 servers. In fact, we have one server hosted in Denmark and one France, and both are working together. Sometimes we lost the 'link' between France and Denmark, that's why our bots can't call the database located on the other server and it results in a crash of the bots (for ~2min).

This happened three times today. I'm going to check if I can find any information about any rooting issue or something. Stay tuned!

 <title>Working on a Trivia Game!</title>
 <link>http://www.FunBots.org/?page=news&amp;amp;id=13</link>
 <description>Hey,

I'm currently developping a new game for the FunBots :

A Trivia Game, based on custom database.

What does this mean?
Everyone know what a Trivia Game is, the bot asks a question, and you have to answer (Really basic, isn'it ? :D). But, I'm currently developping a 'custom database' system, which means you will be able to add your own question for your channel (By categories). I'm also thinking of a option to set a database 'public' or 'private', if for example, you made a good list of questions and you would like to share it to others channels.

If you guys are intesting to test this game, contact me (Blady) on IRC!

After 2 days of downtime, bots &amp; BNC are reconnecting! Everything should be up &amp; running again in a couple of minutes (Time for the Bouncers to reconnect to quakenet). I'll edit the news when everything will be online.

Sorry again for the downtime, I promise to pay the server in time for the next month :P
